Very tight early with Palma's movement and combinations causing their usual trouble and Morales firing right hands to the body and head. In the third Morales stunned Sergio with a 3 punch combo but the Argentinean came right back in the fourth with free flowing combinations.

After a slow fifth, El Terrible pressed forward and landed hard right hands in a dominant round six. Palma cruised with jabs and slick movement in rounds seven and eight as Morales couldn't pin him on the ropes and was catching mostly air with his attacks.

The last four rounds didn't provide many fireworks, Palma remained elusive though Morales occasionally got him on the ropes and landed stright right hands to the body and head. The final round saw Sergio open up a bit and score with clean combinations and that helped him to yet another upset and the improbable tournament victory by MD. 116-114, 116-115 & 116-116
