Thanks for both of your responses so far! I do like simulators, I love looking at histories and seeing the numbers that are put up each year by players. I like the idea of taking young players and "grooming" them so to speak.
As stated by Dave, I like to draft, trade, sign, resign etc. I just dont make unrealistic amounts of trades per year where it becomes far fetched.
I agree again Dave with turning a "real life" NHL starting off in a modern day into your own evolved league. I think expanding and contrasting and franchise relocation and everything of that nature would be extremely fun.
I am just having a hard time for some reason at this point in time getting sucked into this game. Playing/watching the games is very boring with no 2D engine or a large vocabulary of sentences to make the games feel unique... so I feel as if I am just simming a day, checking the box score, checking the emails, simming a day.
This is not a bash or criticism, I think the game is going to be one hell of a game after is polished and it grows I just cannot figure out whats causing me to not become as attached as I hoped or planned.
