At the completion of the 1945 season, with the Brooklyn Dodgers emerging as champions in a pitching dominated series (
read all about it!) the following teams find themselves without human managers.
The Cooperstown Chronicle Baseball League is an alternative history league using only historical players who inherit their talent from their real selves but then develop entirely within the CCBL world. Financials are conducted in modern values with free agency but all other aspects of the game are authentic to the period. Sims of 10 game days run every other day in the regular season with daily sims during the play-offs.
The upcoming 1946 season will be the 12th season of this incarnation of the league which boasts well over 60 successfully completed seasons in all. If you would like to join please email the Commissioner (
