I posted on this subject in the Discussion Forum but decided to port it over here because it does constitute a Feature Wish.

As far as I can determine, OOP4 does not incorporate Home Field Advantage. I just ran a few simmed seasons with the Rolen set and each time the home team success rate was under 50%. In the Show, home teams won 53% and 57% of the time respectively in 2001 and 2000. The spread was especially marked in the NL for some reason.

Since I suppose that this varies from year to year and era to era why not a switch in League Setup that permits setting the degree of Home Advantage? Should be a piece of cake for Markus....
