Vault 108 was a legendary failure in cloning experiments. The Garys of the vault were unstable, homicidal, and single-minded. Of course, Vault 108 was in (Fallout 3's) DC ruins, so we can presume the characters of this dynasty know nothing of it unless Vault-Tec has running logs of its vaults.
