Injury Bug hits

The Rockies finished the month of August with an 18-11 record but had a number of injuries luckily most short term. Currently the Rockies have LF Carlos Gonzalez, SS Troy Tulowitzki out for a couple weeks each. Worse though was SP Drew Pomeranz who tore his labrum putting him out for 5 months. SP Will Bateman was once a again promoted to take his spot. Luckily for them the rosters expanded to 40 players today to allow some rest to their starters coming up to the playoffs. The Rockies magic # is 25 games.
