W-Casas (2-2) L-Scott (4-5)
HR ALK-Holland GW (9) Hawkins (12) Martin (15) EDM-Reyes (8)
Stan Hall gave up more than 3 earned for the 1st time since opening day. His line, 7-11-4-4-0-8 on 125 pitches was his worst start of the year. Cisco Casas bailed out Marc Sheppard, who left the bases loaded and 1 out in the 10th. Mike Lewis went 10-9-4-4-3-10 in the ND.
MAGICAL YEAR-Stan Hall is having a year for the ages. He's 12-0 1.31 in 17 starts as of today. He went 8-6-4-4-3-12 on opening day and since then has made 15 starts, in those 15 he has gone 7+ in every one (except the 5/26 start when he came out with a stiff back) and given up 2 runs or less in every one! Without those two games he sports an ERA of 0.85 today. Discounting the 1 inning start he came out, his totals, minus just 2 starts in which he has given up more than 2 earned, would be, 115.1 IP 63 H 11 ER 120 K's 11 BB's for an ERA of 0.85 and a WHIP of .64.
