Is it possible to have a conversation with you that does not immediately devolve into straw men? If I thought that, I would have said that. What I actually did say was that storylines in v14 are "almost infinitely better" than in v13, and for that reason the work deserves praise.

I never suggested you ought to praise the work that was done on storylines. I quite explicitly said it was fine that you don't like them - how could I feel otherwise? But if you had an artist friend who worked on an oil painting for three months, and gave it to you as a gift, of course no one can make you like the painting. But you can just stash it in your garage and never look at it again. It's needless cruelty to tell the artist that her painting is terrible. And it's even more cruel to go on the internet and try to persuade everyone else she's an awful painter, especially when her work was done purely out of good will.

Thank you for this patronizing nonsense. Obviously it's fine with me that you don't like storylines. I think we all understand that people enjoy different things about OOTP, which is why we value the customization the game affords. I just wish you'd have some consideration for the feelings of the people who make volunteer contributions to this game to try to make it better for everyone.
