It might seem like an obvious strategy, but a lot of people don't take advantage of vesting years like they should. You should at least try and include them in virtually every initial offer. They're extremely helpful IMO.

If this happened just once in real life, the commissioner would get involved and the player's association would file a grievance.....if you made a habit of it, you'd soon find that no players would ever sign your fake contracts......
