Balzay edged Little on a good fight!

Former IBO Super 8 Tournament finalist #24 Kardy Balzsay 29-4-0 (21) scored a MD10 win against always complicated #30 Steve Little 24-4-1 (3).
Little won the first round on a convincing way but on the second round a wild overhand right by Balzsay dropped Little for a seven count after Little got up Balzsay dropped him again with a strong left-right combination. Little got up again and survived the rest of the round.
Balzsay continued dominating on the following round with his uppercut as his best weapon.
Little reacted winning the fourth round and after an fifth one Little won a back and forth sixth round with big exchanges on the inside distance.
Rounds seven and eight were both for Balzsay that used his right crosses from the outside to put Little on trouble.
Little reacted again winning the ninth round on a very convincing way but he needed something special on the last round. The final round started with Balzsay on control hurting Little with a straight right but surprisingly Little connected a great uppercut and dropped Balzsay for a sixth count. Balzsay got up and survived the round without more major trouble.
The scorecards were 95-93 (x2) for Balzsay and 94-94. (Fightnews card: 95-94 for Balzsay).

On the undercard of this fight #48 Chris Eubank 24-3-1 (7) scored a razor cut majority decsion win against frenchman #45 Jean Paul Mendy 27-4-2 (16).
Mendy easily won the first three rounds of the fight against a too passive Eubank. After an awful fourth round without any remarkable action Eubank started to react winning the fifth round on a one sided form. The sixth round was fought on even terms and then Mendy regained the control of the fight on the seventh stanza.
Finally Eubank found his pace on the last three rounds winning all of it on a convincing way to put the result of the fight into doubt.
The scorecards were 96-95 (x2) for Eubank and 96-96. (Fightnews card: 96-95 for Eubank).
