Wow, ok, so this is even more embarrassing than I thought it would be but I'll own it.

So I read your post (which thank you, btw, for the response and your attempt to help!) and was like "That doesn't sound right...I'm looking at the list of draft pool and listing all MLB players and the list is empty." But I decided to just go ahead and have it do the draft/advance to the next day and the log is full of drafted players. So...where were they?

So I brought up the list again to show me all MLB players...and it still only showed one player (Pujols). Just...what?

And then I saw it. The "Filter" selection, in this BRAND NEW LEAGUE I JUST CREATED, was set to "Custom" and was set to find basically a REALLY high-rated player. I cleared the filter, and HEY LOOK! TONS OF PLAYERS!

So...yeah, I'm a giant moron. So weird that whatever you had your filter set to from a previous game would carry over to another universe, but whatever. "Problem" solved!
