After backing up your game, try noodling around with these settings a bit. Maybe one will refresh something or other.

EDIT: FaceGen mode has two other settings: Troubleshooting mode 1 and Troubleshooting mode 2. I have no idea what they do, but what the heck? It's worth a try. [I'd offer to experiment for you, but I like my guys' mugs just the way they are, thank you.
