I have enabled box scores in the Almanac, (I save everything), and also have save box scores from all major leagues enabled in league setup.
This always worked in the past, and not just one specific league but any league I create. I have uninstalled and reinstalled OOTP as well.

The only thing I can think of is that even though you have box scores and game logs checked, maybe one of the individual items in the "Select reports" is unchecked and that's what's causing it. If you load the "Complete almanac" profile first, it checks all of those "Select reports" boxes except for "pages for retired players".
So if the "click Complete Almanac profile first" workaround doesn't work for you, try clicking through these individual reports to see if anything is unchecked.
