This one bugs me, because presumably it means that player on the 60-day DL could accrue Major League service time. It's my understanding that when a player is on the 60-day DL, they don't count toward your 40-man roster obviously, but they DO still accrue Major League service time.
I miss the days when the setting to let minor league managers handle lineups/depth charts/pitching staffs didn't include handling of injuries. I preferred doing that myself to avoid this very situation. Doubt there's too many patches left for OOTP14, but I'd like to see this one get fixed.
Basically, if the player is in the minors (and NOT on rehab assignment), and he gets hurt, put him on the minor league DL - regardless of injury type or length. If he's on rehab, instead of DLing him in the minors, just cancel the rehab assignment and send him back to the ML DL, where he can stay until he's healthy again.
Please Markus let these get in for OOTP15!
