A number of us were having problems using the Almanac with the default settings - even though we had box scores and game logs checked, they weren't being generated. The simple work around was to click on the "Load Profile" button for the "Complete Almanac" to turn *everything* on, and then edit the almanac profile to turn off anything you don't want. Then the box scores and game logs come through.
There's a thread floating around about it somewhere... I'll come back and link it after I find it.
