Open up the Master file in the PCL database and sort your players by their debut year ie. 1904 for your first year of free agents or draftees whichever you prefer to call them... Then copy all of the 1904 or whatever year you want to import player(s) id(s) and paste them into a blank text document like in Notepad or Notepad++ ,(You can probably do this in Excel too???), then after each name add a comma then the debut year...
Example: AnderBa41,1904
Then save this as a text file with a .txt extension and your good to import this list of players... Then when you are in the Free Agents page look at the bottom and click on Import Historical Players I think is how it reads, Select your PCL database Master file, then enter your season year to import ie. 1904, click here to select text file, then direct the game to your saved text file, then click Import Player and it should import your players from that year... I attached the text file I made for the 1904 Players from the PCL Master file for you to use or to see how to make your own... hope this explains it well enough...
