Miguel Perez 3B (29, Bats Switch): arbitration eligible after season. Elite offensive player. 40+ home run pop. Low contact rates, won't hit for average. Best tools are his hands. Catches everything his way.
Ron Baker 1B (29, Bats Right): arbitration eligible after the season. Above average offensively. Solid contact guy with excellent power. Good eye at plate, will walk a bunch. Terrible defender.
Lloyd Ross 1B (24, Bats Switch): .270 hitter, above average pop. Swings at everything. Bad defender.
Bottom Line
Perez and Baker may soon be trade bait. Both will be in the middle of the lineup to start the season.
