Base Current Ratings on...
Base Potential Ratings on...
Base Fielding Ratings on..

Left/Right Split Ratings (should I check or uncheck the box)
Are you going to clone him or keep him as is? For some players that have played in the modern era their stats will show up in the history so I always clone them. (this was on 13 no clue if it has happened on 14)
So if he is a clone I do Ratings based on Remaining years and fielding on career. Career fielding affects players who started at one position but played another most of the time. In one league I had Andrea Raht a clone of Craig Nettles who played 4 positions. With fielding on career it keeps him at 3B. If you import a player from a season who they had fewer then say 100 AB's it seems to affect their development. (depends on you league setup) Ron Washington sucks in my league in a season where he had 34 or so AB's and is stuck at .5 stars and is a minor league filler.
BTW 1989.
