Brooklyn.
The NYC market is so huge that it can (and probably should, actually) have 3 teams. 2 teams in Chicago or "Los Angeles" is != 2 teams in NYC. A Brooklyn team that could build an identify within that community, given their history, wouldn't struggle to gain market share, IMO.
If (when) the Mets fail, you can move them to Montreal and say you've kept the AL and NL Eastern divisions intact.
