The season didn't get off to the best of starts, although we won our first game against Boston. We then went on to lose 6 in a row. We finished the month 11-11, 4.5 games behind Toronto.

Our main problem is the rotation. Aside from Josh Johnson who was AL pitcher of the month, going 3-0 from 5 starts with a 0.92 ERA. Other than Josh we're in trouble, CC is 1-4, Liriano 1-2 and our starters combine for a 4.42 ERA.
Luckily the bullpen is performing and leading the league with a 2.42 ERA.
Offensively we're much better off. Cano is hitting .333 with 23 RBI's while Belt is hitting .284. Granderson is 3rd in homers in the AL with 7.
Jeter and A-Rod are both cold as ice and really need to pick things up. Jeter's lost his starting role to Cozart already, A-Rod won't last much longer at DH batting sub .200.
