A few people here took an exception to a rant that - in ALL honesty - was not supposed to be posted. Back on page 1, my rant was YES accidentally posted. I had started to edit that post and had stepped away from my computer to attend to my father. When I returned to clear out of the text box what I started typing, it - beyond my control - got posted. I don't know if it was my brother messing around with my computer or whether it may have been one of my pup dogs raring up on my keyboard tray and may have pressed the enter key. Ever since then I have been attacked. I have even posted an apology. Damn it guys stop the nonsense. You're killing me. I feel I'm now owed a public apology. Now don't start saying that I'm demanding one. I'm asking for one. And please stop taking everything I say out of context. That's ridiculous. Yes, I feel as if I have every right to be rather pissed off.
I go out of my way to help out in Tech Support, make logos and facegens, help folks out in the forums with issues with their game and I get killed over something that was accidentally posted? Gee willikers, I thought this community was better than that. And in that post which cephasjames quoted, I was just hypothetically speaking. I was not trying to etch any of that in stone.
I gracefully will be waiting for that apology.

I hesitate to interject myself into all of this, but want to do so because I can see both sides of this issue. I do feel for you to some extent. It can be really hard to get uni requests made. I know the feeling of waiting and waiting for requested unis. Though I waited more like four months for some of my requests, rather than four days. Until silvam kindly took pity on me, and did a truly incredible amount of work, making a huge amount of my juco requests.
In fact I posted my own rant on the same subject in the beta forum a while ago, though I hope and believe it was very moderate and reasonable compared to some of what you've posted. It was after that that silvam jumped in and helped out.
So I do understand your frustration, to some extent. That said, what all of the uni makers have posted in this thread is very true. They're donating their time and efforts to make some incredible unis, a very, very large amount of time and effort in fact. So it only makes sense that they focus on what their interests are and fulfill those requests that fit in with their skills and desires.
So yeah, the fact that some very specific, silly, whimsical requests get filled quickly while other requests for more realistic jerseys don't get filled is a little frustrating. But it's no reason to be abusive toward people who are making such wonderful stuff and giving freely of their time and energy to do so. Certainly four days isn't long to wait at all. Had you been waiting a year, then maybe your approach would be more understandable, but four days? C'mon, that's just not being very realistic, reasonable, or fair.
I know you say that the first rant got accidentally posted, but you've followed that up with several more that were also pretty insulting. As I said, I understand your frustration and have shared it myself. But you must realize that you've gone about expressing it in the wrong way here, targeting the wrong people, and that rather than waiting for apologies you should probably be abjectly offering them.
I honestly don't quite understand why you feel some of what's been posted, CONN CHRIS' comments f.e. is insulting to you. It's not. I'm sure that if CC or some of the others who posted here wanted to be insulting they could do so with no holds barred. Considering some of what you've said to them, I actually think they've been quite restrained and moderate in their comments. Honestly you're really the only person that's posted anything that I'd consider insulting in this thread.
We know you contribute a lot here, and it's too bad that things have been tough for you lately. I know that feeling too as I'm sure some others here do also. But you could really have dealt with this whole situation a little better, to put it mildly. Maybe it's time to be mending fences, rather than burning bridges. Hope you're willing to do so and that things work out well here and in other areas for you.
