I firmly believe if this simulation is to be taken seriously, hiring and firing head coaches needs to be implemented. Not only that, who you hire as head coach needs to make a difference on your team's performance. The same goes for assistant coaches, scouts etc..
If this cannot be done prior to public release, I'd look at the possibility of it being introduced as an upgrade in the following months.
