Trying to sign a free agent in an online league. I get an inbox message saying,

"Your offer has been topped by another team...I'd appreciate something more rewarding. The Reds have offered me fair market value. I'd have to say they are the favorites."

The problem is I am the Reds! Should I really be getting this inbox message. Does this mean I should keep my offer?
