Greetings,

One of the largest updates (just under 1300 cards) I have ever done is now uploaded. Thanks to Guy who painstakingly found, cropped and enhanced card images for 1964 and 1966 just as he had done for 1961, 1962, 1963, 1967 and 1968, all of the topps original 192x270 images are now gone. Every card is the standard 375x525. This brings the total card count to 25395.

I decided to go ahead and re-upload every season (1957-1972) since the update was so large. This means there are new zip files for each season fully updated through today. I decided to name them differently this time. The seasons that have name format for Actionpc Baseball is now named that. These zip files contain every card for each player I have done including up to 12 cards for a player per season. The cards are arranged in team folders for each season. Thus there are a lot of options should guys prefer other cards. There are also zip files named for Replay Baseball. These files differ in that there is only one card per player per team and all cards for a given season are in one folder; they are not arranged by team.

During this latest process, I found that I had several cards in the wrong team folders. I hope I caught most of them (did find Lee Stange 1966 in Phillies folder) so that will need to be manually moved by you. There are probably others. I also just found a name error for Johnny Roseboro in 1966. It has been corrected for Replay but not for Actionpc until next update.

For those of you downloading cards for Replay, new is the 1966 season. This concludes the 7 seasons currently available for Replay between the 16 seasons I have carded (1957-1972). Once 1957 is released, I will rename them for Replay as well.

Also uploaded this time are Manager Cards for Replay for 1967. I plan on doing Manager Cards for the remaining Replay seasons I have done. I also uploaded the ballparks I use for Actionpc & Replay. I did not upload the entrance views for Replay however since they are already available. Most of the parks I chose for Replay are not included in the huge park folder that is available for Replay.

If you all have already downloaded season files for Actionpc and Replay from my previous uploads, there is an update only file for each game that is also available for download. Of course there was no previous 1966 file for Replay so that is new as I mentioned earler.

At this time I would like to thank those who helped me throughout this project. Mark (created templates, also did a lot of photo editing which is excellent work); Guy (in addition to replacing all the small topps cards, also supplied many of the very unique photos); Tony (supplied zip after zip of images that I have used throughout this process); Scott (whenever I needed a player photo I could not find anywhere else, he usually was able to supply it if available); John (over at Baseball Birthdays site has for a long time, uploaded many great images as have others posting over there); Marc (who has edited images for me) and the gambo guys at OOTP who post photos every day for any imaginable season). The rest I found myself online at various websites. This project has been going on now for just under 4 years.

Please note; despite not named specifically for other games, these cards can be used with OOTP, Strat and other games that many of you play.

Aside from the manager cards that I want to do and my continuing efforts to upgrade the seasons 1957-1972 with anything that is an upgrade for what I have now, I will also be creating more basketball and hockey cards. Once they have been updated, I will upload all of them again. I have some great new images for basketball that I have been holding off on. I am hopeful that Replay’s great game will finally reach the PC so they can be used as well. Unfortunately, neither sport is handled all that well with actionpc games when it comes to photo images.
