Just in case anyone is wondering, the selection of the Bills as the team that drafted Mr. McVey was completely random, in that I used random.org to determine it. I figured he might go somewhere in the 3rd round, so I just got the website to generate a number between 1 and 32, and it came up with number 8. The Bills picked at #8 in the real life '08 draft, so that's how it happened.

Further to that, in the reality of TGPiS, this is how things are in the other sports:

* Football and Basketball and Hockey are exactly as they are in our reality, with the same players playing for the same teams and the same teams winning championships as they did in our reality.

* Baseball is a bit different, as I've established the fact that there's a team called the New Jersey Titans that play out of Hoboken. The Yankees also exist, as I mentioned them once in a Richie Plunkett post. I've also mentioned the Los Angeles Dragons in the thread's first post, the team that James Molk's father founded. Besides that, it's probably the same teams as in real life but maybe with different players and yearly champions. I had this idea at one point to run an OOTP dynasty that would take place in the same universe as TGPiS, and could possibly still do that some day. It's for that reason I've deliberately avoided mentioning the names of any baseball players in the story so far.
