Markus - I bought OOTP14 to say Thank You! Did any of these ideas make the cut>

Markus, I have not had time to actually play it yet. I will always buy it to say thank you for giving me hours of baseball on my PC during the off-season of real baseball

We have talked for years. I sent you my laundry list for OOTP14. Did any of these make it into 14?

Here is my growing list of suggestions, complaints and bugs.

Suggestions:

1) Color Code retired players list so I already know who is in the Hall, and who is eligible for the Hall.

2) Automatically create game logs for real-simulation games. I have to go into each game's log just to create them. PAIN!

3) Win-Loss Records for each team in game logs and box scores

4) Change naming schedule for replays, box scores and game logs. Frustrating now that they are just game_box_123.html

How about year_mon_day_visitor_at_home_box.html? i.e. 1980_06_22_Chicago_Cubs_at_Atlanta_Braves.html? This scheme allows them to be in order.

Then use a subfolder for each year so that 1980 and 1981 are in separate subfolders.

Do this for news, replays, box scores, game logs, etc - instant almanac!

PLEASE tweak all strategy settings to not SAC Bunt with 1 out unless hitter is BRUTAL (Mark Belanger, Woody Woodard, any current Cub :-( or a pitcher)

HUGE Bugs/Issues:

If I start a league with a certain number of games, say 12. Later expand league and change games to say 24 for each team - The History of the League is now hosed - because game bases Batting Avg, ERA and other qualifying stats on current settings, not the settings as they were that year. This is a major bug for a different reason - these are supposed to be determined by how many games that player's team(s) played. Not a global league setting.

The ERA calculation bug has been discussed ad nauseum and needs tweeks/fixes

Occassionaly (and reproducable) when I run a fictional league, some players real numbers are counted with his numbers in my league. The clue here is if I do a .csv dump his team ID is '0' but his stats count in his career numbers and in league leaderboards - the workaround I have found is extract all stats to .csv and import them back in - but that is a pain and subject to hiccup.

I have been an OOTPer since OOTP4 and LOVE the game
