I don't know. This is outside my experience. My only guess is that the database may require that the master.csv match the player IDs that appear in all the other tables. The master.csv is simply the master list of all players in the database. But there are a number of other tables in the database with their battings stats, pitching stats, fielding stats, etc.

I've never attempted something like this on a large scale, but maybe those same players need to be removed from the other tables as well.

But I honestly have no idea. Spritze or Gambo might be the best experts to consult on how they work with databases on a large scale and make sure they work with OOTP.
