In answer to your first question, I would open the Master.csv file in Excel then highlight all players and sort them by the column that displays the years they played. That will put them all in numerical order and you can delete anyone who didn't play in the decades you want to keep.

In answer to your second question -- considering how big you are going to make your universe, the inaugural draft will probably be about 200 rounds long unless you use the reserve rosters.
