Another problem is that expansion teams sign players before you can even assign managers to the team. This doesnt seem to correct. You should have the choice of putting the team under human or computer control. I simmed to Oct 31st. The offseason started on Nov 1st. the new teams showed up Nov 1. Any player i released before then was signed by an expansion team. I have trades and finances off. This doesnt seem right. I would like to release players before or after offseason but expansion throws a monkey wrench in what i wanna do.
I do have one solution but its the long way. I could wait till Dec 31st or after ive assigned managers to expansion teams to release players. I have to find any player but a rookie and look at his game logs to find the folded teams to release a player from the transaction menu. I dont think you can do that in league history. Which is why i would like to release players before the expansion teams come in and other the teams are folded.
