When I started this dynasty about 6 months ago, I didn't think it would take this long to reach 1878 (and it's not even finished yet!). Lack of time in recent months is the main reason why the whole thing is moving forward at an arthritic snail's pace.

I wish to express my thanks to the handful of you who have sticked around so far in spite of it.

Now, I'm thinking of changing the way I present this baseball history for a few reasons.
First, I intended (and still intend) to cover 140+ years of baseball from 1871 to present. The way things are going, on a year-by-year basis, I'm not sure I'll be able to complete the task in this lifetime... or the next.
Second, for fear of spoiling the fun I have, I haven't touch this particular game for 4 months. I'm still stuck on Christmas Eve 1902. I'd like to cover all of the 19th century history before going back to it. Yet, I'm itching to play it. At this rate... you can guess the rest, the sentence probably ends with "OOTP 39" or the like.
Third, in doing the year-by-year recap, I'm afraid I might run out of (hopefully good) ideas or get fed up with it at some point.
Fourth, well there should be a fourth one, but I can't remember it right now.

Therefore, I've been toying with the idea of writing themed updates. This way, I'll cover most of the 19th century a lot faster. And I'll still leave the door open for specific demands should there be any.

I'm going to post a multi-choice poll to check the waters. My next course of action will depend on what your answers are.

Take your time. We still have at least 3 updates for 1878 ahead of us.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for helping me as well.

* Edit: I must be blind and/or stupid. How do I add a poll? I checked here, the OP as well. I can't find a way.
