Mets Walkoff With 2-1 Series Lead
The New York Mets took a 2-1 lead over Cincinnati with a 7-6 extra-inning win. Cincinnati scored 1 run in the top of the 9th to tie the game at 4-4. The Reds appeared in command with a 2-run 10th off Mets closer Dave Pagan to take a 6-4 lead. However, the Mets responded in the 10th with 3 runs off of Cincinnati closer Bob McClure. Dan Graham started the 10th with a solo homer. A Gary Gray double scored Tony Gwynn to tie the game at 6 apiece. Then, Ron Roenicke ended a game with a walkoff single plating Ted Sizemore for the win and the 2-1 series lead.
