Short version:
After working on 2 different projects to make them release-ready just 3 weeks apart was the hardest work I ever did in my entire life. Add in the post production for the first iOOTP update and the ongoing work on FHM + the work on the iPhone5/Retina display support (as required by Apple since May 1st) and you can imagine how I felt around the end of May. The company trip to New York was a welcome vacation but still I fell burned out and I have to make sure not to get health problems.
That said, work on iOOTP 2013 never was and never will be come to a stand. I work on it almost every day and continue to add the mentioned changes required by Apple (otherwise I can't upload any updates anymore).
Slightly longer version:
When I started on iOOTP the goal was to earn enough money with it to make a living out of it. Sales of all three versions are good
but a few factors make it hard to reach the goal: a lot of people get shares from iOOTP, Apple with 30%, PISD, Graphics, PR. OOTP gets a good share and the $-exchange-rate takes another 30% away. Put taxes on top and there is just not enough money for me to buy three meals a day.

For 2 years that was ok, I expected it to be hard but then it was clear something had to change. So FHM was my way to make sure that a) I can earn more money and b) iOOTP can continue. It was never planed that the Pre-Order Beta version of FHM would be released at the same time as iOOTP 2013 but reasons out of my control made it necessary and on top of it that I had to do much more work as expected.
As I mentioned above, it was the first and last time that two projects will be released at the same time, in the future iOOTP will be (as always) in April and FHM in September.
But one thing is clear: without iOOTP -> no FHM; without FHM -> no future iOOTP's.
I will try to be more communicative in the future, something I still have to learn. So bear with me as long as it takes ...
