BLUE JAYS BOLT 8 GAMES AHEAD IN TU EAST
The perennial powerhouse Tuckanarra Blue Jays made shambles of the Tycobbian East Division with a super 21-7 August and bolted ahead of the East Point Panthers by 8 games... it's looks like the Tucks will win the division for the fourth time in a row and get the opportunity to pick up their fourth Pro Cup in the club's history... the Blue Jays have three overall titles, having won in 2023, 2024 and 2035... second place East Point played good baseball last month, but a 16-12 was not enough... the Ozarka Naturals have third all to themselves and fourth could go to any of the other five clubs in the division.

KENWOOD-LA CLAIRE CRUNCH IN TU WEST
In spite of losing two starters and a slugging catcher to the injury bug this season, the Kenwood Wildcats are still number one in the Tycobbian West Division and still have the preseason-favored La Claire Lynx right on their tails... the Wildcats registered a 17-11 mark this month and bolstered the lead to two games over the Lynx, which were 16-12... Kenwood just added starter Milt Cochrane (14-10/3.59) and standout catcher Corky DiNozzo (.315 BA-20 HRs) to the DL list... they had already lost ace Freddy Gooch (11-5/3.15) in July... La Claire also lost its rookie starter Glenn Smith (9-7/3.70) to injury... he will be out at least two months... the Denton City Redbirds are in the third spot in the standings and trail by seven games... Arlon is fourth, 9 games behind... and Bayview is fifth, 10 games out... with all of Kenwood's critical mound losses, the analysts say the TU West race is a toss-up between the Wildcats and the Lynx.
