LAGRANGE-KILKENNY NAILBITER IN RU NORTH
For the second successive season the LaGrange Sports and the Kilkenny Cats will go down-to-the-wire for the Ruthlandain North Division flag... the Cats had the best August with a 16-12 record, just a tare better than the Sports at 15-13... with 19 games remaining on the schedule LaGrange has a scant one-game edge... it's probably too late in the race for third place Far Mountain, 7 games out, and fourth place Glasco, 9 games off the pace.

WALESKA WAY AHEAD IN RU SOUTH
No contest in the Ruthlandian South... the Waleska Westerners are running away with it... they posted a sparkling 19-9 mark this month and expanded their lead to 13 games ahead of runnerup Claxton... the Diamonds dipped to 13-15 in August... the San Dimas Rancheros are 14 games back in third place, while Belair Beach is fourth and 20 games behind.
