I agree and I think that's the way the Nationals are looking at it as well. It's pretty obvious that they would rather have multiple seasons of good ticket buying crowds than one season of great crowds along with a handful of sub par crowds.
As much as they like Strasburg and want to protect his arm, it's still a for-profit organization that is making good money and they want to keep it that way.
