1982 - July Standings
All the division leaders remain the same and the race remains tight in the AL East. In the NL East, the New York Mets have picked up 6 games on second place Philadelphia for a comfortable lead. The Mariners' lead dropped a couple of games but a big jump was made by Minnesota whose 19-8 record for July netted them 6 games in the standings. Meanwhile, in the NL West the Padres dropped 7.5 games in the standings from 2nd to 5th.
