Comments
Our loss on the 25th moved us into a tie with Kansas City. Our loss on the 26th brought Oakland into first place as well. We fell out of first on the 27th.
We then took three straight from Baltimore, but the Royals have won four straight. The Angels are now in 2nd place, 1 game behind KC. Full standings follow.
We should get Bonds back on May 3rd now, which is good as we've just lost Bobby Grich (below).

RF Bobby Bonds suffered another setback in his recovery and will miss another 5 days or so.
2B Bobby Grich [28](.266 13-54) was injured on May 1st in a collision with Baltimore's Jim Palmer. He will miss 6 weeks with a sprained thumb. With Bonds due back shortly, he was added to the roster. Palmer's condition is still pending.
