GREAT GAMES-Lonnie Vaughan becomes just the 18th player in IBL history to record 6 hits in a game. He's the 1st player to ever do it for the Knights.

John Drake was solid going 7.1-8-1-1-3-6 despite having a very bad year (10-9 5.02) and Jesus Solis left after 7.1-9-2-1-3-3 with a runner on and John Durham surrendered Hunters 2 run shot on his 1st pitch. Wes Webb was 3-4 in the loss. Manuel Rodriguez was hurt running the bases, no word yet on how bad.

3 early runs were enough for the staff to hold on, barely. Santos struggled in a 5-8-5-5-4-0 outing but Endo H(9) Alexander H(6) and Casas H(18) got it to Michael Wheeler for his 36th. Backup catcher Carlos Gomez went 3-4 with 2 doubles (6), scoring twice and driving in 2 (14).

Raul Rubio was on top of his game today, going 7-2-1-1-4-0 and the offense was led by Mauro Ibarbia's 3-4 day with a double (23) homer and RBI (73).

INJURY NEWS-Manuel Rodriguez has a broken rib and will be out 6-7 weeks. Babar Abbas will be recalled. This is a huge blow to a potential Cinderella playoff run.

Off Day
In the injury news below, Benton Crowder has had a nightmare 2nd half. The All Star game MVP was hurt last month, and has been back and forth every since. What originally was to be 1-2 weeks, is now turning into an 8-10 week thing. The Yanks are just 3 up on Buffalo as of today.

Wes Webb's 1st inning 3 run homer propelled the offenese to a 12 run 15 hit day. Nathanial Fox went 7-5-2-2-4-4 for the win. Duane Long led off and went3-4 with a triple (2) scoring 3 and driving in 3 (11). Ash Carter had his 1st career 5 hit day, going 5-6 with a double (8) homer (3) and 4 RBI's (19). Webb drove in 3 (4). Manny Ramirez homered in the loss.

Jeremy Christensen's 2nd inning grand slam broke Colin Durham's back, and the Black Sox held a late surge off, to win it. Durham was pounded for 7 earned runs on 8 hits in 4 innings. Kevin Olson was 3-4 with a double (10) home run and 2 RBI's (13) in the loss. Manny Ramirez went 2-4 with another homer and drove in 2 (30).
