It sounds like you ideally want to create a Template as soon as you've set up your entire game but have not started it yet - ? Otherwise if you create a Template while you've already begun the league, it winds up being more or less the same as a Quick-Start - ?

as i understand that only thing different with a qs than a template, is that a qs will keep in its memory things like custom logos, ballcaps, jerseys and player photos-facegens if they have been created. the same league from a template will have default jerseys and caps, as well as no facegens appearing. they would all have to be re entered. The rest though should be the same in both, including stats for players, and even the date you save the template. save the template after the draft pool, and the template will come with the draft pool there on that day
