5/10/1904 - Win streak ends at 12
Our winning streak finally ended at 12 games. The Highlanders still hold a two game lead over Detroit in the American League.
5/9/1904
Highlanders 6
Americans 4
W: Jack Chesbro (8-1)
Two costly errors led to four unearned runs by Boston, but the Highlanders would battle back, eventually tieing the score in the eighth and going ahead with a two run ninth inning.
Both Willie Keeler and John Ganzel were 3-5 for the night, with Ganzel driving in 3 runs.
5/10/1904
Americans 6
Highlanders 4
W: Jack Powell (2-4)
All good things eventually come to an end, and tonight our 12 game winning streak was over. The frustrating thing isn't so much losing, but blowing a four run lead and failing to capitalize on opportunities. This was a game we could have won, but we found a way to lose with 4 errors and leaving 12 men on base.
With his fourth loss of the year Jack Powell now has 2/3 of our 6 losses.
