For anyone else who is interested you can delete box score, game log replays and messages from any league via a batch file. See below.
Take the text above, copy and paste into a text editor. Save as boxlogdelete.bat in "your league.lg" folder (where all the dat files are). The extension must be .bat for it to work. Double click on it and it will do the job.
Use at your own risk and back up your league file before doing anything.
