Player loyalty
I assume that a player's loyalty is only relevant when I am trying to re-sign a player who is currently on my roster. I assume that, once he hits the open market as a free agent, since he has no team at that moment, he has no team to be loyal to. Is that correct?
Or, to put into other terms, when someone like Mariano Rivera went on the free agent market but everyone knew he wasn't actually going to leave the Yankees isn't something that is replicated in the OOTP world. Or, am I wrong about that?
