The computer strategies are awful and don't even resemble a realistic portrayal of fights. If you want pure boxers like Mayweather and Whitaker going all out for the KO 7 or 8 rounds in a row than it's for you.
I turned that off and either run the fights in Normal mode for the whole bout or for the bigger ones I'll manually put in the strategies based on what the fighters have available in the ratings screen.
I always enjoyed the game, but it was doubled after I turned off the computer strategies and was able to have more realistic fights.
