Playoff Roster Issues
I'm playing as the Reds. Votto, Phillips, and Bruce went down for about three weeks right before the playoffs began. I bring up Lutz, Donald, and Hamilton to fill their roster spots.
Playoffs come and the game says I only have 22 players who are eligible for the playoff roster. It says I may add one more player. I add Hamilton, but I'm still short a starting first basemen and second basemen.
There's no way that the rule is that I'm required to play two men short just because of my bad luck injury-wise, right?
It says "if a player is placed on the 60-day-DL since then or the 15-day-DL during the playoffs, he may be replaced by a player on the active roster."
My problem is none of the aforementioned players were injured for long enough to warrant a 60-day-DL trip. I'm hoping they can come back for the next round or World Series.
I don't know what to do. Any help?
