Well we all know how Roy Hobbs had to retire after the Knights won the NL Pennant in 1939 due to health reasons... Well after ten years his son is grown now, his health is improved and he figures it is time to get back into baseball... The Knights had a couple of good years after Hobbs retired... Pop Fisher bought out the team from the Judge after winning the pennant... Then in 1941 right after the attack on Pearl Harbor, Pop Fischer decided to call it quits... He sold the team and bought a farm and started raising chickens... The war took its toll on baseball and the Knights were no exception to this... Well the war has been over now for 5 years and Mr. Hobbs is back in New York to manage the Knights to another pennant and possibly a World Series... Now lets see how he does as a manager...

In 1950 the New York Knights hold a press conference to announce Roy Hobbs as their new manager... Also unveiled is a new look for the Knights... New uniforms and a new logo to go with the return of Mr. Hobbs...

I removed these and set up "A Knights Saga - 1901 thru 2023" starting on page 86...
