I'll try and help as best I can. FYI, I've had to do things to make the game harder as my teams consistently win 100+ games per year.
I play all of my games in one pitch mode and I simulate an inning at a time until my SP is nearing 70 pitches. I then play it out from there. I do change it up depending on mojo. As an example, when Tajuaan Walker pitchers for me (current Mariners Prospect), I play out the game entirely. When every I simulate him an inning at a time, he gets destroyed. I have other SP's that I simulate the entire game without playing.
I'm curious to hear more about what you are doing from a development standpoint because that is where I find my biggest advantage and it is where I have had to make the game harder by lowering rating ranges to 1-10 and by turning off current ratings.
