not even a big Bears fan, but I'm a Chicago guy so I'll ride with them.
Unlike a majority of Bears fans who bitch and moan all season about our sponge-like offensive line, and then whine and cry when we pick a lineman with our 1st round pick, I liked the choice of Kyle Long. His lineage in football has a pretty good track record, and that is a better indicator of success than in some sports, i.m.o.
Did we reach a bit? Probably. But what would've been better? Te'o? A WR that no one else deemed a 1st rounder, meaning we'd reach anyways?
