I remember doing that and it still didn't result in the same ranking of markets.
What's interesting in MLB's rankings are the teams in different cities yet are considered to have equal market sizes: Toronto, Philadelphia, and Boston; Dallas-Fort Worth and Atlanta; Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.
