Manage other team workaround

I see nothing wrong with these mechanisms to move players from team to team, since we are not comparing performances or playing for prizes.

If a game player wants to put his favorite player on another team and manage that team, why not? Undoing a blunder trade your favorite team did, why not?

To reconstruct my fantasy baseball champions from 1987, I went through this laborious process of becoming manager of every team that had one of my players.

Before you do this, let me admit that my reconstructed champions were a nightmare in iOOTP -- worse defense than a Congolese reserve militia garrison, wretched catching, reserves useless for anything but PH or PR.

I've pondered creating, in my next large fantasy league a couple of teams that emphasize one skill, e.g. power or small-ball. I would be more motivated if I could assign team strategies that the AI would not change (e.g. frequent steal attempts).

Until/unless iOOTP allows easy assignment of players -- a feature I want -- that is probably too laborious. But it is hardly a bug.
