OOTP5 Suggestions
1. Customizability of talent distributions and ratings development (talent and rating distributions of generated players, average development time, average peak time, average fade time). My biggest gripe with the game is that there are too many brilliant/good ratings and overall players develop too slowly. This combo creates way too much parity. On the other hand, some people may prefer parity so I'd prefer seeing options instead of a hard-coded setuop.
2. Career minor league and postseason statistics. Expanded career major league statistics including fielding and situational stats and L/R splits. Team statistics kept in database instead of flat text files to allow for different reporting options (career W/L%, career postseason record, number of division titles, number of league championships, number of world series titles, etc).
3. Gold glove awards. All-star MVP award. MVP awards for each playoff series. All reported in league and player history. Would like to see all awards and any players who have led the league in a category reported to team histories as well.
4. Coach/scout hiring period setup like free agent signing period (i.e. multiple day bidding war).
5. Option to randomize the manager profiles to create strategic variety. Have the GM's base their building strategy around their manager tendencies.
6. Hall of Fame Standards calculated for all players (or at least, retired players). Ability to allow this as a HOF qualifier with a user customizable value (default to 50).
7. Ability to play talent-only but with the same talent categories as the current reduced setting.
